Part Time Technician

Looking for a Part-Time worker/technician for a Technology Installation Company – New York City Metro Area: 

– Installing TVs, Data Cabling, Speakers, Cameras, Screens, and Basic Troubleshooting. Maintaining a clean site/work area. 

– Experience in Audio-Video/Telecom/Data experience preferred but not necessary. 

– On-the-job training and online training/certification courses will be provided. 

– OSHA 30 Card preferred – will provide OSHA training if necessary. 

– Pay $24/hr, company PPE provided a $300 stipend after 45 days for hand tools/work bag/etc for work. 

Part-Time Employment 

  • Hourly Wage Rate at $24.00 per hour. 
  • Overtime Time-and-half eligible at the rate of $36.00 per hour after 40 hours straight time worked within 1-week (Sunday – Saturday)

Benefits

  • $300 Tool Stipend after 45 days of employment for work-related tools that are to be used on jobs, hand tools, workbag, and cordless tools. Must produce receipts for tools to receive a $300 Stipend. We have a tool-recommendation list that will be shared within the onboarding process, the list of tools tried by our team is updated to allow for the high quality of work we produce. 
  • Reimbursement of job-related expenses must be submitted and approved by management. 
  • If eligible, OSHA 30 and SST Training must be completed within 14-days of employment.
  • Training such as certifications for termination, cable, or tool handling, will be done in our office or vendor facilities. 
  • Online/Off-Site Training will be provided when working directly with certain manufacturers’ equipment that requires training.
  • Bonus Eligible, given at the discretion of management. 
  • Safe/Sick Leave accrued (1) hour per every 30 hours worked, (up to 40hrs hours can be accrued per calendar year.) 
  • (3) PTO Days after one year of employment

Looking for a Part-Time Coordinator for a Technology Installation Company in the New York City Metro Area. 4 Pair Communications is a leader in Audio Visual Systems Integration & Telecommunications Cabling Infrastructure. What we are looking for: 

We are seeking a smart, organized, driven individual to help service the needs of our internal team as well as customers. This is an entry-level position for someone starting their career in Business Organization and/or Project Coordination/Management. 

Qualifications: 

– Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive 

– Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. 

– Ability to work independently and in a team environment, this role is also hybrid and flexible. 

Details: 

– This job focuses on file management, creating and sending Estimates/Invoices/Change Orders/Proposals as per direction from Directors, Engineers & Project Managers. 

– Maintaining/Data Entering for Tracking Documents such as Budgets, Project Trackers, and Logs.

– Coordinating schedules with Project Managers’ requests for manpower, internal team and external resources, and subcontractors. 

– Assisting with Orders/Deliveries/Returns and Warehouse Management/Inventory per project. 

Part-Time Employment

Lead Technician

Looking for a Lead Technician for a Technology Installation Company – New York City Metro Area: 

  • 2-3 Years Experience in AV/LV shops. 
  • Ability to lead 1-3 Technicians on sites and remotely, installing TVs, Data Cabling, Speakers, Cameras, Projectors/Screens, LED Walls/Panels, 70V PA/Audio Systems, and Troubleshooting. Maintaining a clean site/work area. 
  • Providing quality site support and coordination with other trades, internal Project Managers/Engineers. 
  • Experience in Audio-Video/Telecom/Data/Security systems and troubleshooting systems and cabling in a logical manner.  
  • On-the-job training and online training/certification courses will be provided. 
  • OSHA 30 Card preferred – will provide OSHA training if necessary. 
  • Pay $30-35/hr, company PPE provided $300 stipend after 45 days for hand tools/work bag/etc for work. 
  • Knowledge/Certifications of product/software Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante, AVB, AV over IP and Networks. 

Employment 

  • Hourly Wage Rate at $30.00-$35.00 per hour. 
  • Overtime Time-and-half eligible, time-and-half rate per hour after 40 hours straight time worked within 1-week (Monday – Sunday)
